We’re excited to be hosting the Food in the Urban Environment sessions as part of the 2019 Festival of Debate.
On Friday, ten academic speakers will present 20 minute talks regarding their current and future research in the area of sustainable food production, nutrition and local and regional governance of these systems. At the lunch break, local agri-tech businesses will be invited to showcase their products and network with attendees.
Saturday is a family fun day with a chance to see inside the University of Sheffield’s Plant Science hydroponic lab, based at Tingas.
