We have had a University of Sheffield Live Project group working with local residents, tenants and specialists over the last six weeks to explore how algae could be utilised to reduce air pollution in the area. The group developed grow your own algae kits with children at Tinsley Meadows, proposed a green master-plan for the Tingas site, and explored innovative ways in which these technologies could be incorporated in buildings in the area with the university’s Bio Engineering Department.
